Calgary Seniors Resource Centre
Linking Vulnerable Seniors in Calgary to the Services they Need and People Who Care
Many of Calgary’s seniors are vulnerable, and are struggling mentally, physically and financially. Often they are cut off from the community supports they desperately need. CSRS is having a significant impact by reducing social isolation and connecting seniors to resources that will help them continue to live in their own homes and neighborhoods. We have been helping vulnerable seniors across Calgary and coordinating services to them and their families for over 30 years. However, the number of seniors is expected to double in the next few years. It is urgent that we expand our program to keep up with the increasing demand. With your support, we will continue to provide seniors a connection to people who care. What makes CSRS unique? We bring together the efforts of a wide variety of community partners, train thousands of volunteers, and coordinate these efforts at the lowest cost possible. The result is linking at-risk seniors to community resources, vital services and caring citizens, keeping seniors safe, happier and living at home.
